What is my experience about Veritas Desktop Laptop Option as a Solution Provider?

Well, my company is a Veritas partner. So I get to install DLO on a lot of businesses. If you have a well-composed active directory, and you are an expert on active directory then DLO or Desktop and Laptop Option is quite a piece of cake for you. As I was not an expert on an active directory when I begin (I cannot proudly say that I am now),  I faced a lot of issues installing and configuring the desktop laptop option. I needed to troubleshoot a lot, mostly because I had no knowledge about the active directory.  Especially pushing the client to endpoints. I remember on my fast installation the business had 60 laptops and 40 desktop computers and I had to pull all the clients from the DLO and install one by one to all the hundred computers. you can understand how big of a mess that was. As I got to understand Windows active directory, domain name server, and other things. It became a piece of cake for me. sometimes you might face some issues regarding the backup, especially the incremental backup. You might see DLO is creating a backup on both the server and the endpoint.  As a result, the endpoint such as laptop and desktop storage or the hardest space is reducing exponentially every day.  I had to ask Veritas to intervene and solve the issue.  Obviously, it was my fault I configured it wrong.
